Is Hyne Design available to everyone?

Yes the software is available to everyone on the web, but registration is only available through Hyne for Australian customers.

Is Hyne Design hard to use?

Hyne Design is not a hard program to master and if you are experiencing any difficulties, just be in contact with the Hyne Product Information service and we can send out a Hyne Technical Representative to your site and give you instruction there and then.

Can I download Hyne Design off the net or do I have to call a technical representative?

Hyne Design can be fully downloaded off the net. We can also provide you with a disc if you are not an active internet user.

I am having some issues with designing, who can I talk to?

Please give the Hyne Product Information service staff a call and they will fast-track you to a Technical Person for assistance.

Do I have to register Hyne Design?

To get the most from your Hyne Design programme it is best to register as soon as you install the programme. Registering also means that, when Hyne has an update to the programme you are automatically notified that an update is waiting for you via internet or CD.

My registration is not working, what do I do?

Simply ring Hyne Info on 1300 30 4963 and they will talk you through the problem you are experiencing. We will get you up and running in no time.

Does Hyne Design work on Vista?

Yes it does, but we need to help you with your installation. Give us a call and we will talk you through.

Does Hyne Design work on a Mac?

Hyne Design v6 was made for the Windows operating system and as such doesn't function on a Mac Computer. There are some solutions available to run Windows OS on a Mac, such as Boot Camp or Parallels, but these have not been taken into consideration during the development of Hyne Design and we cannot guarantee full compatability.

Can I design a beam that may fail?

The beauty of Hyne Design is that the programme will not allow you to design a building component that will fail. It simply will not design a member that is out of spec for the information that is inputted.

How long will Hyne Design last for on my computer?

Once you have registered the programme it is yours to keep. Upon registration your name is entered into a database and you will receive updates of the programme automatically.
